The best location. 6-7 euro from the stations(old Dresden, new Dresden). Two room apartment was enough for four people. We were two people and it was too big! |

The location is unbeatable, 50 yards from the most beautiful church in Europe and right in the heart of Dresden. We had an apartment on the 6th floor (ask for 602 if you can) and it was first class. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and the room facilities were very good. I would suggest planning to cook a few meals yourself, as the local restaurants are pretty dreadful... The bath/shower arrangement was a little bizarre, being not quite one or the other. The reception being in another building was less than completely convenient, but actually caused no problems at all for us. |

Location. Right in the centre of old town. Spacious rooms. Stairs. Althoug they do have an elevator, you still need to either go up or down to get to your room. With heavy luggage, it was a little awkward. As there was no convenience stores near by, some vending machines would have been great (for water etc.) |

Convenience - could walk to everything in the historic district. The apt we had had lots of space and a beautiful view of the Frauenkirche. Most of the staff was very limited in their English and that was a problem since that is our only language. They did not have an reference book in the apt. Which presented a problem. But they were very helpful when we called for information. |

This place was wonderful. Our two-bedroom apt had a large livingroom and nice kitchen, with top-floor dormer windows looking right out over the Frauenkirche square. Very clean, very nice. We couldn't have been closer to the action, and the street where we enter the apt is full of cafes and bars. My only small complaint relates directly to how close we were to the center of everything. With the windows open, it was noisy--especially on the weekend nights, as people ate and drank in the square below. Also, the office en trance is obscured by restaurant awnings, so it would have been hard to see if our cab driver had not known where we were going. |
